Happy to meet you and Quiblier Conseil, renowned recruitment and HR consultancy firms, are pleased to announce that they have signed a major agreement. Both companies will gradually merge to form the Happy to meet you Group, making it the largest HR consultancy group in western France.
The agreement is western France’s flagship M&A in this sector and will offer businesses and organisations comprehensive expertise in recruitment, outplacement, employer branding, career development, appraisals, coaching and HR consultancy.
Quiblier Conseil, founded in 1986, has built up a global HR management offer and is renowned for its expertise in direct recruitment, interim management, career development (outplacement, career assessment, job centres, and internal mobility), appraisals, HR consultancy and coaching.
François Gougeon and Florent Letourner created Happy to meet you in 2016. The company very quickly became an employer branding and IT, sales and support recruitment specialist.
For François Gougeon, Happy to meet you Co-founder: “The merger is a strategic agreement which translates as the largest service offer available in the market through which we will continue our considerable growth dynamic. In keeping with our strategic synergy approach, we will be able to welcome the Samsic Group, one of the leading European business services providers, amongst our shareholders.”
Pierre Lajarrige, Quiblier Conseil, was looking for an opportunity to develop the company and expand to a size which would pave the way to a leading market position: “Besides growth challenges, the three of us share the same enthusiasm for HR and the same values. This is an additional asset in the success of this merger”.
Happy to meet you will employ 50 HR and Communications specialists, with a turnover of €5m on four sites (Rennes, Paris, Nantes and Brest).
For Florent Letourner, Happy to meet you Co-founder: “In addition to this growth strategy, we are already considering new mergers and agency openings in Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, and Lille as well as in European cities such as London, Munich and Milan, while remaining attentive to managers who wish to launch or accelerate their growth strategy”.
